Dominicans-Haitians travel miles to get clean water on their horses and mules.

Dominicans-Haitians do not have the means to buy a stove.

Majority of Haitians suffer from poverty and environmental risks like widespread deforestation, pollution, and droughts, hence many migrate to the Dominican Republic. They seek to escape from poverty and the unbearable circumstances to find a better lifestyle. Many of them are illiterate and never got the opportunity to go to school .

However, migrating to the Dominican Republic, Haitians do not find what they are looking for right away, for example, a job, education, home, etc. They are treated poorly because they are considered second class citizens and are still living in poverty. Most Haitians barely have enough to eat and have a limited amount of access to clean, safe drinking water as well as sanitation on a daily basis.

The houses are made of wooden scraps.

Therefore, OUR MISSION is to help the Dominican-Haitian kids who need an education. We are committed to donating supplies that these kids need such as backpacks, notebooks, pencils, uniforms, and more! In the future, we may also build classrooms to expand the school and learning facility.
